iWalk Day on Wednesday!

International Walk to School Day is on Wednesday, October 7.  Observed all over the world, this celebrates walking to school!  Even if you don't normally walk to school, try to on iWalk Day- join a Walking School Bus or just walk on your own.  It's a blast, and your Bee might just love it.

On October 7, we will have some additional festivities on the playground before school to celebrate lots of walking bees!  When you arrive at school, look for the table on the playground near the middle set of doors.  We'll have hand stamps and a bubble machine.

We'll have one Walking School Bus running (see map) and encourage you to jump on it or walk yourself!

  1. Things about school bus safety
School buses forms the most important mode of transportation for the young kids in Canada and in the USA. As more than 25 million students travel to school from their home via these buses, it is extremely important to ensure proper school bus safety rules are maintained. For this, ensuring the bus is designed according to the guidelines laid down by the transportation department. Also drivers should be chosen carefully. Not only that, even having safety restraints installed within the buses is very important.
